November 18, 2022 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Now presenting Center Stage Shabbat: a catered Shabbat dinner followed by a presentation or performance conducted during dessert. Each of our Shabbat evenings will focus on educating, inspiring and engaging attendees through music, cuisine, or performance. On Center Stage Shabbat Fridays, following the 6:30 pm service, attendees will enjoy a catered Shabbat dinner (including wine and coffee/tea/desert), followed by the featured performance on stage during dessert.
Our first CENTER STAGE SHABBAT features Sam Simon, actor and author Don’t miss this moving, uplifting, and inspiring true story during National Family Caregiver’s Month. We welcome Sam Simon, actor/performer/author of The Actual Dance, to share his journey through his wife’s serious illness and recovery. Sam’s story puts a spotlight on finding beauty, dignity, and love in the difficult moments of anxiety and uncertainty that life presents.
Sam and his wife, Susan, (both past presidents at Temple Rodef Shalom in Falls Church, VA), will follow the performance with a question/answer session. They enjoy bringing their story of hope to audiences everywhere.
Cost: $25 pp (for Shabbat dinner + program). RSVP BY NO LATER THAN November 14.
