Elul School with Rabbi Pokras and Cantor Eschler

22 Aug @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Elul School GraphicReflect, Connect, And Begin to Correct this Elul with Rabbi Pokras and Cantor Eschler
Tuesdays at 7pm beginning August 22 (4 weeks)

As we approach the High Holy Days, it’s important to remember that change doesn’t happen overnight. That’s why our tradition has given us the entire month of Elul to start the process of personal growth and reflection. We invite you to join Rabbi Pokras and Cantor Eschler in a 4-part series, where we’ll explore productive ways to engage through the Jewish approach of second chances and new beginnings. During this series, we’ll delve deep into the themes of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur and discuss practical ways to make purposeful changes in our lives.

Did you know that not everyone prepares for or experiences the High Holy Days the same way? Hear from Rabbi Pokras and Cantor Eschler about their opposing philosophies. Whether you align more closely with Rabbi Pokras or Cantor Eschler, we hope this conversation will inspire you to reflect on your own relationship with the High Holy Days and deepen your understanding of the diverse ways in which we can approach this meaningful time of year.

This is a free event, and all are welcome to attend. Let’s embrace the opportunity for growth and transformation together this Elul.
