Brotherhood Book Talk Sun., Oct. 31 (10 am) with Charles Lichtman, Author (on Zoom)
October 31, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
After seeing From Russia With Love as a young boy, Chuck announced to his parents that he wanted to write spy novels and stayed forever focused on that goal. Over the years he wrote and produced a play in high school, wrote numerous spy and humor based short stories, was the Editor-in-Chief of his high school newspaper, and worked on the Indiana Daily Student newspaper in college at Indiana University. While in law school at DePaul University College of Law, he founded a newspaper, the Cause of Action that remained in operation for over thirty years.
Today, Chuck Lichtman is an expert in Middle East affairs and issues regarding terrorism. He lives in South Florida where he is working on his next novel. He has twice been recognized as “Lawyer of the Year,” founded a national voter protection program, and is an avid photographer and pianist. Chuck can be found at http://www.chucklichtman.com.
The Sword of David is a fast-paced, action-packed thriller, both reminiscent and a combination of The Da Vinci Code and a modern-day spy novel. It features stops in Ethiopia, Mecca, London, Paris, Afghanistan, Istanbul, Lebanon, Rome and of course, Jerusalem. Chuck visited most of those locations to support his extensive research on history and locale, relevant to the storyline.
