GIVE US A KING
You did NOT study this in Hebrew School! Leadership usually isn’t easy, and transitions aren’t always smooth. The process of moving from tribal to national leadership and government can be a great window on human behavior and divine observation. With text study of the Early Prophets, we will explore the books of Samuel and look at the beginnings of the Israelite monarch, from Saul to David.
Learners should have a copy of the Tanakh in English. Please contact Shelly if you’d like to arrange to come by the Temple and borrow a copy for use during the class. Register HERE. Code: BETHAMI50 Please register as FRIEND OF THE INSTITUTE. No charge for Beth Ami members. Once registered, you will receive the Zoom link.
