Kayitz is excited to offer 6 weeks of Specialty Camps for rising Kindergarteners through 7th graders for Summer 2025!

Registration opens January 13!

Campers enrolled in Kayitz will spend half of each day exploring one specialty area each week. Specialists will work with campers to enhance skill levels in these areas. In addition, all Kayitz campers will engage in outdoor sports and water activities, art, social justice projects and more. Hot lunch will be available to order.

$440 per week

($355 for the 4-day weeks of June 16 & July 4)

Discount Details:
Member Discount: $30 discount to Temple Beth Ami members at the time of registration. When registering on ShulCloud, please select member pricing which includes discount.

Medical Forms for Campers:

All medical forms are available online and must be submitted for application to be completed. Only campers entering Kindergarten or enrolled in a Non-MCPS school are required to submit a form signed by a doctor. All other required forms can easily be completed and signed by a parent or guardian. Please submit forms as soon as possible.

Food Policy
WTBA and Brotherhood Scholarship Information

For the summer of 2025, Women of Temple Beth Ami (WTBA) and the TBA Brotherhood are excited to offer a limited number of scholarships for children to attend summer camp programs at either Temple Beth Ami (TBA) or a Union for Reform Judaism (URJ)-affiliated camp.

Please note that these are the only camps for which the scholarships are available. These scholarships are named in memory of Harriet Sturm, z”l, past-president of WTBA and life-long champion of the youth programs of Reform Judaism.

Due to budgetary constraints, please only request this scholarship if it would be a financial hardship on your family for your child to attend the camp without this monetary assistance. Children and grandchildren of WTBA and TBA Brotherhood members, who also belong to TBA, will be given first consideration.

Refund Policy
If you withdraw your child before April 30, 2025 from any of the summer session(s) for which you registered them, then you will receive a 75% refund for the cancelled times.

If you withdraw your child on or after May 1, 2025 from any of the summer session(s) for which you registered them, there will be no refund of fees paid.

If a participant is absent for any portion of a Summer Program session for any reason, there are no refunds.

Temple Beth Ami Summer Programs were established using safety guidelines established by CDC and Maryland Department of Health (MDH). Additionally, Kayitz will follow regulations established by Maryland Department Of Health Youth Camp Licensing.

Given ongoing changes in regulations, program offerings are subject to change. As required by licensing, Kayitz has a health supervisor. All camp health matters are under the discretion of the health supervisor.
