Kate Wernick – Gan

Mrs. Wernick loves joyful Jewish learning. She has taught Kindergarten and first grade at MachaneTBA and previously at Seven Locks Elementary School, in Prince George’s County, and at Ballet Petite. Her background is in Musical Theatre and she enjoys bringing a bit of drama and magic into her classroom by infusing Torah stories and Midrash with wonder and awe using sensory experiences. Mrs. Wernick is a full time mom to three boys (TBANS students and alumnae) and an active volunteer and philanthropist. When not teaching, she enjoys cooking, exercising, and reading.
