The Jewish world is going to elections and we must cast our votes. From January 21 thru March 11, 2020, Jewish communities around the world will be choosing delegates to the 38th World Zionist Congress. In the United States, this is done through an election with votes cast on-line. It is important that each of us vote. Temple Beth Ami supports the “Vote Reform: ARZA” slate, which helps assure a large Reform delegation. The ARZA slate is the only one that specifically reflects and supports the values and growth of the Reform Movement in Israel and around the world. Success in previous elections has strengthened our liberal and progressive voice in Israel, placed leaders of our movement in key positions in Israeli NGO’s and provided financial resources to our growing Reform Movement in Israel and to Reform communities around the world. Please take note of the information in the Shabbat Bulletin, in our weekly “Up To the Minute” emails and in the Chadashot. There, you will find more information about this campaign, why it is so important, and how to cast your vote. This is our chance to have a voice in the “Congress of the Jewish People”. Let’s make it a strong and influential voice. Please vote.
