This fall Tikkun Olam will be providing support to Community Partners who help with food insecurity in Montgomery County.
This fall, Tikkun Olam @ TBA is on a mission to tackle food insecurity in Montgomery County—and we need YOU! Did you know that many of our neighbors are struggling to get enough food? It’s a surprising reality, but together we can make a difference!
Join us as we embark on a tour of three incredible Community Partners. You’ll hear firsthand about the challenges faced by Montgomery County residents and discover how these organizations, alongside Tikkun Olam @ TBA, are working to make a real impact.
Let’s rally together and help those in need. Over 73,000 people in our community are living in poverty, and more than 72,000 residents are struggling below the Federal poverty line. This is our chance to shine a light on these issues and offer support.
Here’s how you can help!!
Donate to the Harvest Against Hunger Manna Food Drive
Date: October 11 – October 23, 2024
Program: During the High Holy Days, support our neighbors in need by donating non-perishable food items. This season is especially critical, as donations decrease over the summer, leaving the Manna Gaithersburg warehouse with lower inventory. For those who rely on Manna for access to safe and nutritious food, your generosity makes a huge difference.
What to do: Bring your non-perishable food items to the collection bins at TBA or donate online. Link coming soon.
