caring for our Community

This winter Tikkun Olam@TBA will be highlighting the many person-to-person programs congregants have been engaged in for years that provide much needed support to the Jewish community and beyond.  We are looking for additional volunteers to expand our inter-generational programs as well as our work with Makom.

 Programs:
  • JSSA Winter Care Packages for Holocaust Survivors
  • Montgomery Hospice Shabbat bags
  • Makom – Art activities, parties and more with community members with intellectual disabilities.
  • NNIA Women’s Circle – Monthly community group for refugee and newcomer women supported by TBA and our partner organization, New Neighbors Interfaith Alliance. Volunteers are needed to meet and greet the women and baby sit their children during the meeting.
  • M’Shloach Ma’anot – Baking and delivering of sweets during Purim to the people we connect with throughout the year.
