“Tip Offs to Rip Offs” is aimed at seniors to prevent fraud, scams, and identity theft. Despite being smart, many fall victim to scams, as evidenced by the 26.86% increase in Maryland’s reported online scams in 2020. The presentation covers various common scams targeting seniors, including email, phone, internet, Medicare, and phone scams, and offers prevention strategies and guidance on reporting incidents.
