Shabbat Hike @ Sugarloaf Mountain

01 Nov @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm

Our hike at Sugarloaf Mountain on November 1, will begin at the East View Parking Lot at 9:30am. Enjoy the beauty of nature while connecting with your community as we walk together in the spirit of Shabbat. The hike will be both spiritually uplifting and physically invigorating, taking you through scenic trails that offer breathtaking views. Please note that some sections can be somewhat challenging, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience Shabbat in a unique and peaceful setting. All are welcome!

The hike will depart from the East View Parking lot at Sugarloaf Mountain . Enter the park through the main Sugarloaf Mountain entrance. The winding road will take you to the East View parking lot. We will meet at the picnic tables that are between the lot and the trailhead.

There is no potable water onsite, so bring enough to drink. There are porta-johns by the parking area. Given the length of this hike, we will take a few “snack breaks” along the way, so bring trail snacks and/or lunch. Sturdy closed-toe shoes are suggested as the trail is rocky, has tree roots, and is uneven. There are sections that are steep. Hiking/trekking poles are helpful, but not necessary.

In the event of weather that is severe enough to cancel the hike, we will send an email to those who have registered.
