“Every child is prepared for future social and intellectual pursuits, and every family feels a meaningful connection with our community,” is the vision of our school. We want to focus on the second part of that phrase.
Gan Ami prioritizes relationships among our families, as much as we focus on providing the best early childhood education. Nothing makes us happier than creating community, connecting families, and making Temple Beth Ami your home-away-from-home where parents make life-long friends. Gan Ami is initiating a “family center,” a comprehensive umbrella for all our family programming.

Extra Classroom Activities
Watch your child thrive with enriching activities beyond the classroom at Gan Ami. Our after-school soccer programs cater to Gimel and Dalet students year-round, while Bet students can enjoy music classes post-school hours. For families not yet part of Gan Ami or those from TBA, we offer Rhythm’ n Ruach music classes and Music Time for Tots with Miss Gina. Miss Gina also leads our summer music program.
Parent Support
At Gan Ami, we’re dedicated to fostering a nurturing community for parents. Through our Kesher inclusion initiative, we strive to ensure that every student feels embraced and supported. Additionally, our Parent-to-Parent group offers a platform for parents whose children may have unique needs. Join us for Coffee with the Clergy, an ongoing opportunity to engage with TBA’s clergy on diverse topics. We also regularly host workshops led by experts, covering subjects such as sleep and nutrition. Your journey as a parent is important to us, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.
Parent and Classroom Socials
Creating opportunities for both parents and children to come together outside of the classroom is crucial for building a strong and supportive school community. Through class and grade-wide social events like park playdates, game nights, and parent outings, families can bond, share experiences, and strengthen connections. We encourage every parent to join the Parent Committee or collaborate with a room parent to help organize these meaningful experiences for each class. By actively participating in these events, parents not only enrich their own and their child’s school experience but also contribute to a vibrant and inclusive school community.
