The Political Pre-Game with Encore

The next Encore, The Political Pre-Game event will be on Sunday – February 12th, with Encore member, Ira Shapiro.  Tom Temin, our former TBA president and Radio Personality, will be interviewing Ira about his recent book, “The Betrayal: How Mitch McConnell and the Senate Republicans Abandoned America.”  The event will be at TBA ( in the Kinneret room) , 2:30 to 4:30 to give our members time to get ready for the Super Bowl.  

We are requesting volunteers to bring noshes:  appetizers such as cheese & crackers, salami, hummus & dips & chips, fresh veggies & fruit, stuffed mushrooms, cheese spreads, popcorn, cookies, brownies, and other pick up stuff. We will also need sodas, Italian sodas, and wine.   

Please contact Linda Cohen by email to let her know what you prefer to bring.  To assure that we have some balance, Linda will let you know if there is a need to modify your preference because too many people have already volunteered to bring the same category of food that you initially preferred. Please let Linda know as soon as possible but no later than Tuesday, February 7th.
