Weekend and Holiday Day-use Admission Fees: Maryland residents $3/person *Day-Use Waiver for Veterans – All applicable day-use entrance charges are waived for all veterans (not other visitors) of the United States Armed Forces. *Day-use waiver for National Guard (Active Duty). * No admission fee for those who have a Maryland Passport, Golden Age Passport or Universal Disability Pass.
There are bathrooms at the beginning of the hike. Please bring your own bottle of water. Sturdy closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended as the trail is not paved and has uneven terrain, rocks, tree roots, and may be muddy due to recent weather.
This trail is not appropriate if you have mobility issues.
