The new millennium requires new storytelling tactics. The way we give and receive information via social media has changed the way personal stories impact society around us. Through photos, images and stories, Erez presents a different way of approaching the Holocaust. By reinventing the way that we are telling the story of the Holocaust, the goal is to educate the two-thirds of Americans who have never heard of Auschwitz to understand the damage caused by Anti-Semitism.
Erez Kaganovitz is a photographer, TEDx speaker, and the human behind the Humans of Tel Aviv, Humans of Israel, and Humans of the Holocaust projects. Through his work on these projects, Erez has helped bridge a cultural gap in society both within and outside of Israel. His work brings understanding, emotional connection, and unity to many around the world.
Temple Beth Ami gratefully acknowledges the generosity of the Oscar Pohoryles Holocaust Education Endowment Fund for supporting Holocaust programming for our congregation.
