Temple Beth Ami Community
Parent workshop co sponsored by the Bitachon – Mental Health Initiative
What does Judaism and our knowledge of building resilience teach us about what to do when we are faced with loss, death and tragedy? How do we manage our own thoughts and feelings as well as guide our children through and beyond these painful events? Please join Roberta Drucker, LCSW-C, TBA’s Synagogue Liaison from The Jewish Social Service Agency, for a workshop and discussion about these and related concerns. We will explore issues about our family values and cultures, developmental and maturational factors and mental health concerns as we consider parenting in the aftermath of the Pittsburgh Tragedy. This workshop will help you examine your reactions and responses to difficult decisions and conversations as you build strategies and resilience for yourself and your family.
