THE SEDER AND THE SIDDUR

The Hebrew words “seder” and “siddur” (prayerbook) are both based on the three letter Hebrew root which means “order.” Although we may not realize it, our worship services and Passover seders were carefully structured in a deliberately precise manner. When we understand the reasons behind these choices, we learn many of the deeper spiritual meanings of our services, and how to bring greater personal meaning to our prayers. Want to learn more?
