TOPIC:  Jewish & Christian Interpretation of the Prophets The New Testament and Christian theologies quote regularly from the Hebrew Bible in order to validate their point of view. Most of these quotes are from the Prophets. Naturally, Jewish interpretation and understanding of the words of the Prophets are very different than the Christian understanding of the same words.
